INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

I aim to provide a safe and confidential environment where you can share your thoughts and feelings. My focus is on helping you achieve your goals and improving your emotional and psychological well-being. I specialize in individual counseling, where I work with clients on a one-on-one basis to address their unique needs and challenges.  Often individuals seek counseling for an objective perspective, to feel validated, personal growth or for self care.  

DEPRESSION

Depression is a common mental health condition that can impact many aspects of our lives. I work with clients to better understand their depression and develop strategies to manage symptoms. I use evidence-based techniques to help clients build resilience and improve their overall well-being.

LIFE TRANSITIONS

If you are facing changes in your life related to moving, starting a new job, beginning a new education program, I offer therapy to help you navigate through those transitions. I work with individuals to cope and manage those changes constructively. 

SEXUAL ORIENTATION AND IDENTITY

I am LGBTQIA+ affirming.  Sexual orientation and gender identity are complex aspects of identity that can have a significant impact on our lives and relationships. I offer a supportive environment where individuals questioning their sexual orientation or identity can explore these aspects of themselves.  I support clients in overcoming any challenges to develop a strong and healthy sense of self. 

RELATIONSHIP COUNSELING FOR INDIVIDUALS

Relationships can be complex and challenging, and sometimes we need support to navigate them. I provide relationship counseling to individuals to support developing healthier and more fulfilling relationships. I focus on identifying patterns of behavior that may be contributing to relationship problems and work collaboratively with you to find solutions.

STRESS & TRAUMA

Stress and trauma can have a significant impact on our mental health and well-being. I provide a safe and supportive space to help clients cope with stress and trauma. I use evidence-based techniques to help clients build resilience and develop tools to manage the impact of stressful life events.

GRIEF AND LOSS

Life brings us all different types of losses.  It may be loss of a job, loss of physical ability or loss of a person or pet.  If you are struggling with grief and loss, I offer a safe and supportive space to process the associated pain of grief.  I work with individuals to identify strategies to cope with their losses, honor their losses and adjust to a new life with increased hope and acceptance.     

EMOTIONAL REGULATION

Intense feelings are a normal part of life but sometimes strong feelings can be overwhelming and difficult to manage. If you are struggling with intense feelings, I offer support to help you understand the root causes of them and develop strategies to manage them.  I work with clients to develop healthy communication skills and build emotional regulation skills.

ANXIETY

Anxiety is a common mental health condition that can impact many aspects of our lives.  I work with clients to better understand their anxiety and develop strategies to manage symptoms. I use evidence-based techniques to help clients build resilience and improve their overall well-being.
